The love of sausage and bratwurst makes it a natural to take up this food hobby by creating your own fresh supply.
Here, a fresh batch of Italian, beer brats, and Chorizo
sausage is drying on the counter. A few hours of work grinding the meat, mixing
in the spices, then stuffing them is "all" that it takes to make
fresh brats.
Breakfast sausage is our favorite. A combination of pork, bacon, spices, and some "secret" ingredients make it special. We always enjoy a quiet Sunday morning with a hearty omelet made up of our breakfast sausage and a variety of fresh vegetables.
While making them takes time to master - flavoring and
spicing, it's the grilling and eating part of the operation that we have
mastered over time (and a few beers).
